Area rugs need regular cleaning, just like all other fabrics. When cleaning rugs, they can either be cleaned or washed. An area rug cleaning is just a normal cleaning in your home like your carpet would receive, except for we do take many extra precautions. This type of cleaning is a maintenance cleaning to keep your rugs looking great. The second cleaning is an area rug wash. For this, we take your rugs out of your home and they are fully immersed and washed in a pit. This type of cleaning is much more extensive and thorough. We usually recommend a rug wash when a rug has been neglected, is severely soiled, or has been contaminated due to pets accidents or other such extremes.
